EOI Emu Control Program 2025-2026
The Central Wheatbelt Biosecurity Association (CWBA) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from landholders located inside the State Barrier Fence who are experiencing damage caused by Emu (Dromaius novaehollandiae) populations.
This activity is part of the CWBA’s 2025–2026 Operational Plan and will only proceed if seasonal conditions result in significant impacts to pasture, crops, and infrastructure.
The purpose of this EOI is to:
- Assess the level of current and potential emu impact
- Identify landholders who may require assistance
- Support coordination of permits and aerial culling, where needed
If you are experiencing issues with emu populations on your property or would like to be considered for inclusion in a coordinated control program, please complete the short questionnaire below by Friday, 8th August 2025.
