Notice of AGM & Call for Board Nominations

Nominations Open for the CWBA Board of Management

The Central Wheatbelt Biosecurity Association is inviting nominations for positions on its Board of Management ahead of the 2026 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 13 October 2026.

CWBA is an incorporated association responsible for supporting coordinated declared pest management across the Shires of Dalwallinu, Koorda, Morawa and Perenjori.

Our volunteer Board of Management provides governance and strategic direction for the Association and helps guide the development and delivery of CWBA’s declared pest management programs.

Several current Board Director terms expire at the 2026 AGM, and nominations are now being sought to fill the available positions. Retiring Board Directors are eligible to renominate.

Board Directors elected at the AGM serve a three year term.

To be eligible to nominate, candidates must be a current Member of CWBA and their nomination must be supported by another current CWBA Member or Member Authorised Nominee.

Nominations close Tuesday 15 September 2026.

The CWBA Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 9.30am at the Liebe Group, Dalwallinu.

If you have an interest in regional biosecurity, agriculture and the management of declared pests, becoming a CWBA Board Director provides an opportunity to contribute to the future direction of the Association and represent the interests of our communities and landholders.
